Experienced Senior lawyer in Public, Corporate and M&A, Governance, Compliance and Energy law.

40 years of experience, from which 20 in the Spanish Government Administration as a Spanish State Lawyer (“Abogado del Estado”) and another 20 as General Counsel, Secretary to the Board of Directors and Head of Legal in EDP España (formerly Hidrocantábrico), and other EDP Group subsidiaries. 

Awarded a diploma in European Community Law. Former Associate Lecturer in Administrative Law at Oviedo University and the School of Legal Practice at the Gijon Bar Association (“Colegio de Abogados de Gijón“). Also taught on the Tax Technical Course at the University of Oviedo Business School (IUDE).
